Tala Bay, Aqaba
Tala Bay is a private marina enclave on Jordan's southern Red Sea coast, south of Aqaba city. We run all our AIDA courses from H&S Water Sports inside the marina — premium facilities, sheltered entries, and quick access to depth.
Why we train here
- ·Sheltered entries inside the marina — easy for AIDA 1 and pool-equivalent sessions.
- ·Open-water training sites accessible by boat in minutes.
- ·Depth drops cleanly close to shore — depth depending on student readiness and safety.
- ·Generally calm Red Sea conditions year-round, with warmest water late summer.
A typical course day
You'll arrive at the marina in the morning, meet at H&S Water Sports, run a short theory or briefing session, and get into the water for either pool-equivalent confined skills or open-water depth work — depending on the day of your course. Sessions are paced for safety and supervised by your AIDA instructor throughout.
Getting here
Fly into Aqaba (King Hussein International, AQJ) and continue south to Tala Bay. From Aqaba city, head south on Route 65 — the marina is signposted. Contact us for the exact meeting point and timing.
